💚🐏💛 From CSU SOC student to valued community partner!
Jill Fox (’97), the Alternative Sentencing Director for Larimer County Community Justice Alternatives, oversees community-based sentencing programs and Pretrial Services that promote public safety, save taxpayer dollars, and provide clients with the structure and support needed for long-term success.
Alternative sentencing allows individuals to fulfill the requirements of the Court, while maintaining supervised access to employment, education, treatment, and family responsibilities — reducing disruption, supporting successful reentry, and strengthening the broader Larimer County community.
“My Sociology education at CSU taught me to look at the whole picture — not just a person’s actions, but also the experiences, circumstances, and systems that have shaped their life — and that perspective continues to guide my work today,” Jill explains.
“Today, my relationship with CSU Sociology has come full circle, as Community Justice Alternatives partners with the department on initiatives ranging from gender and trauma-informed practices to partnering with CSU Ph.D. grads on workplace culture, allowing our staff and programs to benefit from its expertise and research.”
Thank you, Jill, for your continued collaboration and commitment to improving outcomes near and far!
