Antoinestale

Antoinestale Antoine and his specially-abled pack face adversity with incredible resiliency and dogged determination. His book and stuffie are available in link below.

Follow along for their healing journeys, adventures about the farm, and pack pet therapy visits. Antoine’s journey is one of love, determination and friendship. Born with rigid paralysis of his hind legs—a complication of the infection Neospora, Antoine was rescued by Janet Curran, a longtime animal advocate in Kansas, and brought to Colorado State University for treatment. His subsequent rehabili

tation led him to Connie Fredman’s Canine Health Resort in Colorado where he learned to walk again. Now his life is now filled with playful days, continued rehabilition and giving back to others as therapy dog.

What was I made for? 🐾 Just a little wobbly, but fully designed to melt your heart and make you smile.

Video description/background: Gonzo is a 10 year-old mixed breed dog that was born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). Gonzo came to foster with us after he was dumped on the streets of Los Angeles. He was diagnosed with CH here which is a neurological condition that causes his wobbly gait and head tremors. The condition does not cause pain or affect lifespan. Lucky for all of us, Connie fell in love with this little cutie and this became him forever home 🏠 🩵

Video description/background: Deacon is a 10 year-old chocolate Labrador that just finished getting a massage and is begging for another one. His brother Gonzo is on the massage table and his sister Skya is in the background. Deacon uses every persuasion he can think of to get another rub: paw on massage table, head butting the massage therapist leg and locking his gaze on the masseuse. The boy is obsessed!

Antoine melts into a happy puddle with his massage therapist Falon. AwoowoowooWOW! Video credit: Crossed Paws Canine Massage

Video description/background: Antoine is a 14 year-old Siberian husky that is receiving a massage at home. Antoine is extremely relaxed and looks up with gratitude to his massage therapist and snuggles in closer. Antoine was born with the neospora parasite that left him paralyzed by six months of age. A Kansas City animal advocate, Janet Curran, rescued Antoine out of the shelter system and brought him to Colorado State University for treatment. After surgery and extensive rehab rehabilitation, Antoine did indeed walk again despite all the odds that were stacked against him.
