Today, we’re honored to welcome Gary and Joni Ozzello as our Old Main Bell ringers! 🔔🐏

For nearly five decades, Gary and Joni have championed CSU and the people who make Ram Country special. From Gary’s 42-year career at CSU to Joni’s lifelong connections to the university, their Ram pride runs deep. Gary has also missed just one CSU home football game in nearly 50 years!

What better way to celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend than welcoming two Rams whose connection to CSU spans generations? 💚💛

Thank you, Gary and Joni, for making us Ram Proud!

Homecoming and Family Weekend is officially underway! 🔔🐏

We’re proud to welcome our GOLD Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Dexter Beasley (B.S. ’21) back to campus to kick off the weekend by ringing the Old Main Bell.

Since graduating from CSU, Dexter has made a lasting impact across Northern Colorado through compassionate leadership, community service and nonprofit innovation. During more than three years as executive director of FoCo Cafe, Dexter helped raise funding for nearly 25,000 meals for community members experiencing food insecurity or homelessness and helped serve more than 40,000 meals overall.

When grant funding declined dramatically in 2025, Dexter launched the “Save FoCo Cafe” campaign, raising more than $120,000 and helping position the organization for long-term financial stability.

Today, Dexter continues to give back through nonprofit leadership and board service.

We’re so glad to welcome Dexter back to Ram Country and celebrate their impact as we kick off Homecoming and Family Weekend! 💚💛
