In partnership with Carevocacy, the NSU Lifelong Learning Institute will be hosting a series of four classes about technology. Tuesday, April 13 & 20, May 11 &18, from 2;30 - 3:30 p.m. These sessions are FREE and will help you learn about the basics of technology, and also address the discussion about staying safe online. These classes will be taught by the Founder and CEO of Carevocacy, Stefano Selorio. Stefano will also bring in guest speakers like Naomi Grossman from LifeJourneys Media to discuss sharing stories as we grow older. This is a safe space to discuss your experiences with technology and how we can be better digital consumers. Great panel discussion today about the book “Policing the Black Man: Arrest, Prosecution, and Imprisonment.” Hosted by Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) at Nova Southeastern University and NSU Shepard Broad College of Law. Broward State Attorney Harold F. Pryor discussed the impact that his office has on the criminal justice system and how we plan to initiate reforms while not compromising the safety of the community.
