🌊🐚 Happy ! We’re throwing it back to the 1955 Sanibel Shell Fair! The Sanibel Shell Show & Festival is still a beloved annual island tradition and the world's longest-running shell festival.

Did you know the world is an egg? 🥚

At least, that’s what David Teed, leader of the Koreshan Unity, believed. The Unity moved right here to Estero, Florida in 1894, bringing with them their own unique belief, “Cellular Cosmogony”. In this publication, Teed’s theory claims that the earth is actually a concave sphere, and that the sun is at its center. This book is one of Teed’s first copies from 1898.

In 2013, FGCU’s men’s basketball team shocked the country by making it to the Sweet 16 and they did it with some of the most unforgettable dunks you’ve ever seen. Check out the Athletics Collection for all the stats!
