Fort Riley, home of "The Big Red One," is known for its excellent training, abundant recreational opportunities, rich history, and tremendous relations with surrounding communities. Barton Community College's proud association with Fort Riley and the U.S. Army began in 1984 with a single training contract and has continued to grow in support of the Army, its soldiers, their families, and the surro
unding communities. The Fort Riley campus administration building is located in Building 211 Custer Ave. on the main post of Fort Riley. The campus also provides instructional services for LSEC, BSEP, and Evening College Courses. Barton Community College also provides Troop School courses which are located on Custer Hill. Courses are also offered at a nearby outreach site located at Grandview Plaza. The Grandview Plaza outreach site is home to the Hazardous Materials Handling and Emergency Management programs, OSHA, Emergency Medical Technician, and Paramedic programs.
