We are excited to welcome Clay Brillhart as the newest member of our faculty and the new Livestock Judging Coach.
A Fort Scott native, Clay has deep roots in agriculture and a lifelong passion for livestock evaluation. Growing up actively involved in both 4-H and FFA, he developed a strong foundation in the livestock industry that ultimately led him to pursue a collegiate judging career. Clay attended Butler Community College before continuing his education and livestock judging career at Oklahoma State University. He graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Economics.
Clay’s passion for livestock judging was cultivated from an early age through his family’s operations, Brillhart-Slater Show Lambs and Brillhart Show Goats, located just outside of Fort Scott. Those experiences helped shape his commitment to the livestock industry and his dedication to developing future leaders in agriculture.
As someone who proudly calls Fort Scott home, Clay is excited to invest in the next generation of students while drawing upon the exceptional agricultural talent and resources found throughout the region. In addition, Clay is dedicated to recruiting some of the nation’s most talented livestock students to our campus, further enhancing the program’s reputation and competitive success.
Please join us in welcoming Clay to our program. We look forward to the energy, experience, and leadership he will bring to our students, livestock judging team, and agricultural community.
