We are proud to announce that at the first Miss PUSH America pageant, $1,041 was raised for PUSH America. After a night of fun competition, we crowned Allyson Peek our Miss PUSH! We would like to thank all of the Greek community at UAFS for your efforts to make this pageant a success, and a HUGE thank you to all in attendance!

The following is via Shelbie Dyer, an AOII, who is reaching out to the community to help this family:

"I found out this morning that a small family in Lavaca completely lost their home in a house fire last night, along with everything in it. This family has a sweet 6 month old baby boy and they are in need of some things. Definitely baby boy clothes but lots of other baby items as well..(diapers, wipes, etc).if you know of anyone who is wanting to get rid of some baby clothes that would be great. But also the mother and father need clothes. This is a great opportunity to give back! The mother wears size small to medium t shirts.. Tighter fitting could probably be a little bigger and size 5/6 pants.. Again sweatpants or something like that could be a little bigger. The dad wears a large shirt: size 32/34 pants. Some of us are taking donations and will be getting these items to them this weekend. Please let me know if you have things you want to donate! We have so much to be thankful for and it would be great to give this family something to be thankful for during the holidays. Thank you!"

Tonight is the last night of Formal Fall Recruitment! Tomorrow morning we will be welcoming new associates into Pi Kappa Phi and the next chapter in their lives! Our fellow fraternities will being doing the same; adding quality men to our Greek society! Go Greek! Go Lions! Go Pi Kapp!
