Great news! The Air Force, on May 27, 2026, approved Ebbing Air National Guard Base in Fort Smith as the final decision location for the F-35 Foreign Military Sales program. Additionally, the decision increases from 24 to 36 the number of F-35 Lightning II aircraft on the Ebbing ANGB ramp, supporting our allies from Poland, Singapore, Finland, Switzerland, and Germany.

It has taken a team effort to get to this point. I'm grateful for the steady leadership of the leaders who came before me at the JFHQ level and at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, and of course, our community partners in the River Valley. Additionally, the leadership from Arkansas' Congressional delegation, and the leadership from the Governor's office (current and past administrations) has been crucial. Thank you all for your diligence and unwavering efforts.
