🎃 Pumpkin season is here! Our culinary students practiced their baking skills by learning how to make delicious pumpkin muffins. From measuring and mixing to baking and cleaning up, they’re building valuable kitchen skills—and enjoying the results! 🧁

Part of our program is to provide hands on experiences on and off campus. Our students help in the office and are learning to follow a checklist as well as how to file, copy, collate and staple papers and mail out paperwork.

Today, our Master Gardeners gave our students a hands on lesson all about seeds!🌿

Our students learned about different types of seeds, where they come from, how they grow, and what they need to thrive. They even had the opportunity to get up close and explore seeds for themselves!

We love seeing our students learn through hands-on experiences and connecting what they learn in the classroom to the world around them. 🌎

A huge thankyou to our amazing Master Gardeners for continuing to share their knowledge and helping our students grow. Both in the garden and beyond! 🌱

Our Okaloosa Up students are learning that good communication is about so much more than just talking—it’s about listening, expressing yourself clearly, understanding others, and knowing how to respond in different situations.
In the classroom, our students are putting these skills into practice through role-playing activities, giving them a chance to work through real-life situations in a fun and supportive environment. 🎭
These communication skills are important not only in the workplace, where clear communication helps build strong relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and customers, but also in their personal lives as they navigate friendships, family relationships, and everyday situations.
We love watching our students gain confidence, practice new skills, and discover that what they learn in the classroom can make a difference at work, at home, and everywhere in between! ❤️

🔨👩‍🍳 Industry Certifications

Our Building Trades and Culinary students work toward industry certifications that show employers they have the skills and knowledge needed for the workplace. These credentials help prepare our students for future employment!

We love our nursing program! We have nurses who rotate through our program each week and this week's group stepped up in a big way to help teach a lesson on hygiene and it's importance personally and in the work place.
