Join us this Wednesday, October 30, 12-12:50 PM in KT 246, for a fascinating talk by Dr. Peter Boyvalenkov on Kissing Numbers—from Newton’s historic debate to today’s Big Data applications!

Ever wondered how many spheres can “kiss” a central sphere? This seemingly simple question opens doors to geometry, coding theory, and even quantum computing. Dr. Boyvalenkov, a renowned mathematician, will walk us through this curious journey.

🍕 Pizza after the talk!
