Our three choirs had an excellent final rehearsal Wednesday evening for tonight's concert, "From Sea to Shining Sea: Choral Music of the United States." It begins at 7:30 p.m. in Auer Auditorium. The ticket office line can be long, so we suggest arriving early to reduce the risk of missing the first song. It will be the final PFW concert for our director, Dr. William Sauerland, because he has accepted a new position in California. We hope you will attend this wonderful concert!

After seven years of choral leadership at PFW, Dr. Sauerland has accepted the position of Associate Professor of Music Education at Chapman University. Let's all help find a new, wonderful choral director for the 2026-2027 school year.

Our musicians had a wonderful "dress" (run-through) rehearsal last night for tomorrow's Home for the Holidays concert. You won't want to miss it!

You'll hear all three of our choirs (at times combined into a single, huge chorus), the PFW University & Community Orchestra, plus the PFW Jazz Band and Clarinet, Flute and Piano Ensembles.

The concert starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 in Auer Performance Hall of the PFW Music Center. Because it's our most popular concert of the academic year, the line at the ticket office can be long. If you don't want to miss a note, we recommend buying your tickets online at https://www.ticketreturn.com/prod2new/Buy.asp?EventID=354759 # or arriving as early as possible to join the queue at the ticket office.

To whet your appetite, here are a few photos from rehearsals last night and Dec. 1.
