We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
Twenty-five years later, we remember.
On September 11, 2001, our nation was forever changed. Today, the City of Fort Worth honors the lives lost and remembers the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, military personnel, and ordinary Americans who answered the call to help others.
We also remember the strength and unity that emerged in the days that followed.
As we mark 25 years since 9/11, we pause to honor those we lost, support those who continue to carry its impact, and reaffirm our commitment to service, compassion and community.
You can observe this somber moment today during a solemn and meaningful ceremony at Fort Worth City Hall. The event begins at 7:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, on the Back Porch gathering space at City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail.
Fort Worth will never forget.
