Veterans tackle civilian life with lessons they learned in the military — with leadership, adaptability and resilience. Creating a pathway for military-connected students to continue their education and career growth is important as higher education helps prepare the future workforce of North Texas.

During Military Appreciation Month, Tarrant County College is proud to celebrate stories like Mark Power, an U.S. Army veteran who reminds us that transformative victories often continue long after military service ends.

Through education, support systems and opportunity, Mark said TCC helped translate his experience into meaningful future — one that has also helped others.
