Kentucky State University is helping inspire and train the next generation of future veterinarians through hands-on learning!

KSU hosted 21 junior high and high school students for a hands-on 4-H Veterinary Science & Skills Workshop!

Students practiced real-world skills like triage, injections, suturing, and disease identification using life-like models. Guest speaker H. Barlow shared insights on dairy cow health and calf management.

Big thanks to Dr. Abbigail Hines and Elizabeth Workman for leading this engaging, career-focused experience!
