Congratulations to Lady Dee Ann Emerick Ellington who received the Diamond Award from Past Governor Chris Steel. She is also a distant relative of our Namesake Rev. Marvin L. Isley and Lady of Companion Knight Randal P Ellington, she is also picture with Grand Governor James Catania and Deputy Grand Governor Dennis Schraeder. All 3 Companion Knights served as Presiding Grand Officers of the 3 York Rite Bodies together.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

On behalf of all the officers of Isley York Rite College, we wish all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!✝️✝️⛪⛪🌲🌲

We hope to see many of you when we next meet which will be on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Franklin Lodge for a called business meeting. It will start at 7:00 pm. The Associate Regents (OPC) will have a meeting after the College.

The next Annual Assembly with degree work will be on Saturday March 7, 2026 at Franklin with lunch at noon and the degree at 1:00 pm. There will be a short business meeting after the degree PLUS the installation of the officers for 2026-2027.

Until then, may the good Lord bless and keep you and your family and may all of us remember the TRUE meaning of the season to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Eminent Governor James Fairchild and the Officers of Marvin L. Isley York Rite College #129 held their Fall Meeting and Conferred the Knight of York Degree upon 5 Candidates, Paul Roark, Skip Donnell, Andy Hughes, Paul Nay and Stephen Holaday.

Our very own Grand Governor James R Catania along with Past Grand Governor Marty Evens, Deputy Grand Governor Dennis Schraeder, Sr and Govenor James Fairchild presented our new Companion Knights with their certificates and lapel pins.

We had a wonderful lunch that was prepaired and served by the Daylight Court of the Amarath and alsp celebrated 2 Birthdays, Companion Knight Joe Allen and Companion Knight Jeremy Chapman who was also made an Honorary Member for his contributions to Isley College.

A great day of Ritual and Brotherhood was had by all!

It is with Great Sadness that we inform you of the passing of WB and our Secretary David Willoughby. Brother David has done a Yeoman's job with our College and his service and dedication has been exemplary!

He will be deeply missed by all! Please see his obituary and service information below.

David Charles Willoughby, 84, Plainfield, passed away May 20, 2025. David was born on November 16, 1940, to the late Charles Clay and Mabelle Laura (Haller) Willoughby. He was also preceded in death by twin sons; sister, Charlene; brother, Paul. Survivors include a son, Brian; a daughter, Kara; five grandchildren.
David served as president of the Methodist Youth Group for the Northern Jurisdiction of the Methodist Church and attended many years of summer camps at the church’s Battleground, Indiana campgrounds as a youth.
He graduated from Avon High School in 1958 and attended Indiana and Butler Universities. He specialized in medical workshops through the Biological Photographic Association. David was the first Board Certified Registered Biological Photographer by examination in the state of Indiana. He held various association offices in his career. David was instrumental in producing many educational surgical programs for Methodist Hospital Medical Education for more than 20 years. He became trained by the FBI and transitioned his photographic expertise to the Marion County Forensic Agency, retiring in 2002.
David enjoyed all sports by having played baseball, softball, and officiated high school and college basketball for over thirty-five years. He was a USS swimming official during the Pan Am Games in Indianapolis.
A decorated and accomplished Mason, David was Past Master of Evergreen Masonic Lodge No. 713 in 1992, Indianapolis Masonic Lodge No. 669 in 2013, and served as Trustee of Mooresville Masonic Lodge No. 79. He received the Indiana Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons Award of Gold for 50 years of membership in 2020. He was Grand Director General of Yeomen of York of Indiana in 2018-19, a 50-year member of Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite. David was past presiding officer of West Side York Rite bodies, Past Prior of Robert A. Woods Prior No. 62 of Knights of the York Cross of Honour, and received the Order of the Purple Cross in 2015 from the York Rite Sovereign College, N.A. David served the Marvin L. Isley York Rite College No. 129 as secretary since 2011.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22. 2025, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The Masonic Memorial will begin at 7 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cryptic Mason Medical Research Foundation https://www.cmmrf.org/donate/. The Marvin L. Isley York Rite College held their Meeting and Installation of Officers and the conferral of the Knight of York Degree on worthy York Rite Brothers Earl Jacob's and James Hertel who were presented with their certificates and pins by Grand Governor James Catania and Governor Chris Steele.

Congratulations to the newly installed 2025/26 Officers who were installed by our Own Grand Governor. Our Prayers are with Governor James Fairchild, during his recovery.
