Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAAs) are students selected to foster connections between alumni and students by interacting with alumni and by encouraging students to consider their role as future alumni. Through service and leadership, this organization strives to foster relationships that benefit all parties involved and promote the character and ethics of the University of Mary Washington.

Just before winter break, our SAAs stepped away from being nose-deep in books for finals to have one last meeting before the semester ended. This was no regular meeting—it was our holiday party! We learned how to decorate cookies and participated in a White Elephant gift exchange.

Many laughs were shared as presents were opened and exchanged among one another.

Thank you, everyone, for an amazing semester! Can’t wait to see everything that’s to come in the upcoming semester!

This past semester SAA’s were given the chance to part in Mock Interviews!!

Everyone was given the chance to interview but only 3 of our members made it to the second round. The three members that passed to the second round were Zoe Muller, Elaina Dongieux, & Maggie Alt.

While these three went into round two, the rest of the members watched from a live stream in the other room. In the end Maggie Alt, was our winner of the Mock Interviews this year!
