The purpose of the University of Mary Washington Alumni Association is to promote the welfare and support the mission of the University while encouraging an enduring relationship by deepening alumni and student loyalty. The purpose of the Mary Washington Alumni Association is to create opportunities for alumni to stay connected with each other and the University. Alumni automatically become member

s of the association and there are no fees to remain a member. The Alumni Association plans a variety of events and programs throughout the year including Homecoming, Reunion Weekend, regional events, e-newsletter communications, tailgates, networking receptions, service projects, lectures, and much more. Hundreds of alumni who graduated in years ending in 1 and 6, along with their friends and family, came to the 2026 Reunion Weekend to reunite with each other, their favorite faculty members, and their college home. With sunny skies and balmy temperatures, they participated in parties and picnics, presentations, printmaking workshops, a podcast recording, a "Bites and Sites" dinner across campus, student-led tours, beverage tastings, family fun, and trolley trips to Carl’s for frozen treats.

Reunion Sites & Bites: The Classes of 2001, 2006, 2011 & 2016 enjoyed a tasty tour of iconic places on campus. Stations were set up in various spaces on campus, with each featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres and signature drinks. The party ended with dessert and karaoke around The Fountain at Palmieri Plaza.
