SUNY Fredonia TESOL Program Housed in the Department of Language, Learning, and Leadership, the TESOL Program offers a variety of Degree and Certificate of Advanced Study options. The M.A.

The TESOL program is housed in the Department of Language, Learning, and Leadership, College of Education. Two degree programs are offered: Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) and Master of Arts in Language & Learning (M.A.). We also offer programs leading to Certificates of Advanced Study (CAS) in Bilingual Education Extension and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The Master o

f Science in Education is a graduate-level program designed for both in-service and pre-service teachers who seeks a TESOL K-12 degree program. The M.S.Ed, TESOL K-12 program leads to New York State initial and/or professional certification in TESOL K-12, depending upon the credentials with which the candidate enters this program. The Master of Arts in Language & Learning degree program is a 30-credit, interdisciplinary graduate-level program designed for gaining a Master’s degree with a chosen focus in one of three specializations: TESOL, Bilingualism/Multilingualism, and Heritage Languages. program in Language and Learning does not lead to a recommendation for certification in New York State. Summit on the Future of the TESOL Profession

What does the future hold for the TESOL profession? What policies should be in place to prepare future generations of English language learners?

The Summit will take place in Athens, Greece, but you can participate online from anywhere in the world! Online Participant registration is FREE. All you have to do is sign up. The conversations begin this Thursday, 1 December, so don't delay.

The Summit will showcase 12 innovative thought leaders from 6 continents whose ideas will challenge common misconceptions and help re-envision a future grounded in equity, inquiry, and professionalism. The Summit will enable a strategic conversation around four major themes: Futurology, English in Multilingualism, Reimagining English Competence, and The Profession as Change Agent.

As an Online Summit Participant, you'll be able to:
