This past week, our very own Nathan Errington and Ravind Raipen were among just 159 brothers selected from nearly 12,000 nationwide to represent New York Iota at the Ruck Leadership Institute, held at the birthplace of Sigma Phi Epsilon, the University of Richmond. We look forward to seeing the skills and insights they bring back to help strengthen our chapter. A special thank you to our New York Iota alumni and others who helped make it possible for Nathan and Ravind to attend!

Today, our very own Nathan Errington and Ravind Raipen are heading to University of Richmond, the birthplace of Sigma Phi Epsilon, to represent New York Iota at the Ruck Leadership Institute.
This marks the first time in chapter history that two brothers have been selected in the same year. Congratulations to Nathan and Ravind on this outstanding achievement,we’re proud to have them represent New York Iota!

Throwing it back to Ruck 2016, when brother Anthony Tardibuono ’18 represented New York Iota at the birthplace of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Next week, brothers Nathan Errington and Ravind Raipen will represent NY Iota at the same program, the first time our chapter has sent two brothers in the same year.
The Frank J. Ruck Leadership Institute is Sigma Phi Epsilon’s premier five-day leadership program, held at the fraternity’s headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. Designed for the organization’s top emerging leaders, the institute focuses on personal development and the Balanced Man Ideal. Best of all, it’s one of the many leadership opportunities available to our members at no cost!

The school year is almost over!

Calling all parents of graduating high school senior males, as well as guidance counselors, coaches, and mentors: please share our Balanced Man Scholarship opportunity with any male student who will be attending SUNY Fredonia in the Fall 2026 semester.

We are awarding one $1,000 scholarship and two $500 scholarships to male students, both current SUNY Fredonia students and incoming students, who exemplify our Balanced Man ideals of leadership, academic achievement, service, and personal development.

Fraternity membership is not required to apply or be eligible for these scholarships.
