Everyone deserves a path to recovery. Teens in our youth-centered recovery program are learning how to repair broken relationships and rebuild supportive networks. Reentry programs that connect people to housing, counseling, peer support, and community resources are vital to setting people up for success.

Recovery is strengthened by connection. 💛

September is —a time to celebrate progress, share hope, and remind people that support is available.

Since 2000, our NYS OASAS -licensed outpatient chemical dependency treatment program has supported youth and families affected by substance use. We help young people strengthen relationships, improve their well-being, and build healthy, fulfilling lives.

Throughout September, we’ll share stories of recovery and helpful resources for youth and families.

Recovery looks different for everyone, but no one has to navigate it alone. Every connection can be a step forward.

Tomorrow (Aug 22) is Be An Angel Day. Simply put, it's a day designated to do a good deed for another. The possibilities are endless!! Support a friend who's struggling. Buy the person behind you a cup of coffee. Carry groceries for someone. Volunteer at a local charity. Make a donation to support a favorite cause. Offer to w**d your elderly neighbor's garden. Congratulations to Greg Clendenning, our July Employee of the Month!

Mr. Clendenning (Mr. C.) was nominated by his supervisor for dedicating more than twenty years of service to the Agency and helping young people achieve. Mr. C. goes above and beyond to ensure the Recreation department runs smoothly and its facilities are maintained for youth to safely enjoy each day. He runs the Custodial vocational program and is the campus American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider in First Aid/CPR/AED.

It's magical to see our fields come alive during haymaking. The sun shining down, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the sound of machinery in the distance remind us of the beauty of hard work and the cycle of nature. Speaking of nature, look who we found hanging out on campus. Did you know that the snapping turtle is the official state reptile? They can also live 30-40 years on average. I wonder how many haying cycles this one has lived through!
