Terra State Community College Facebook Usage Policy
The Terra State Community College page is meant to be an outlet for updates and news about the College and a venue for discussions pertinent to all constituents of the College, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, prospective students and the community at large. It is not our intent to censor this page, but while we encourage the
free-flowing discussion of ideas, we felt it essential to establish the following guidelines:
• Show respect for fellow users by keeping discussions civil. Remember, Facebook allows users as young as 13 to join.
• The College reserves the right, but assumes no obligation or responsibility, to remove comments that are lewd, offensive, libelous, demeaning, profane, racist, sexist, abusive, violent, obscene, or hurtful or hateful toward an individual or group.
• Messages promoting or selling products or commercial services as well as political ventures or efforts are not permitted and will be removed unless it is appropriate for our students or alumni-related.

• The College encourages thoughtful discussion, debate and the sharing of various viewpoints.
