Due to the rising number of KIA and Hyundai vehicles being stolen in Fresno County, the Fresno Police Department has provided Fresno Pacific University Campus Safety with steering wheel locks. If you own a KIA or Hyundai vehicle and are an FPU staff, faculty or student, please visit the Campus Safety Office at 4866 E. Butler Ave. Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Please have your vehicle registered with Fresno Pacific University and have an active parking permit. If you have a KIA or Hyundai and have not yet registered your vehicle, please visit my.fpu.edu and click on the vehicle registration tile. Parking permits for the 22-23 academic year are now on sale for $80. Please visit my.fpu.edu and click on the “vehicle registration” tile. At the top of the registration page, you will see campus map. At the bottom of the registration page, you will notice paid permit and free permit parking lots that coordinate with the campus map.

Parking is enforced from 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Reserved and timed parking stalls are enforced 24/7.

Parking LotsThe following lots require a paid permit:

· A (Chestnut Ave Parking Lot)
· B (Chestnut Ave Parking Lot)
· C (Chestnut Ave Parking Lot)
· D ( Seminary Parking Lot)
· E (Warkentine Culture and Arts Center Parking Lot)
· G (Jost Hall) (FPU resident students only)
· H (Heaton Ave Parking Lot)
· I (Hamilton Ave Parking Lot)
The following lots require a free permit (paid permits may also be used):

· F (Butler Church Parking Lot)
· J (Willow Ave Parking Lot)
· K (Steinert Athletic Complex Parking Lot)
· All Townsend Ave, Winery Ave, and Heaton Ave Houses (Offices)
Vehicles may not be parked in free permit parking lots (F, J, K) more than 96 consecutive hours without prior approval from the Department of Parking.

No parking after midnight in any paid permit parking lots with the exception of parking lot G which is reserved for resident students.

Long term parking will be reserved for parking lot K. If you plan to have long term parking please contact the Department of Parking at (559) 453-4621 or e-mail at [email protected].

The FPU Department of Parking is still working on parking permits and options to purchase permits. As we work through activating our permit purchase tile, please see the following parking permit options. We will update our FPU community when our permits go on sale and allow appropriate time for our community to purchase permits before enforcement begins. Free parking permit – Parking lots F, K, and J.

Resident parking permit- Students living on campus may park in the Jost Hall parking lot (parking Lot G) overnight. This permit will ONLY allow overnight parking in parking lots G, K, and J. Students living on campus, Willow Gardens students (Willow Gardens residence this permit DOES NOT permit you to park in Willow Gardens parking stalls unless permission is granted by Amanda Wall. Students who purchase on campus residence permits will be confirmed by Campus Safety and Student Life.

Paid parking permit - commuter student, staff, faculty Parking lots A, B, C, D, E, F H, I, J ,and K.

All vehicles parked on FPU property MUST have a parking permit. Please see the FPU map for details regarding parking lots.
