One Bulldog's journey from football standout to leader in education 🏈 πŸ“š 🐾

Jim Arellanes represented Fresno State on the football field in front of over 33,000 fans in 1995, and now he's returned as a student in the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership. Arellanes has worked in education for 27 years and now serves as an elementary school principal.

"One of our greatest sources of pride is that our doctoral students advance scholarship grounded in the lived experiences of the communities they serve. They graduate as scholar-leaders who are more equipped, not just more credentialed."
β€” Dr. Ignacio HernΓ‘ndez, Professor and Director of the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership Program
