🐞She is going into her senior year. She is majoring in sociology with a minor in women’s studies and psychology. She likes to read and be with her family, pets, friends, twin and big. Equal rights amendment and mental health awareness are extremely important to her.

Why I joined sorority life? Meet our sister Shania and Marie - .miles ....
Shania - “I wanted to join a sorority because I felt like I wanted to be a part of something bigger. I also wanted to make more friends here. And now I have sisters🥰. I never thought I would be the leadership type, and now I am the president of this organization! I 10/10 recommend getting out there and find out what sorority life is about!”
Marie: “When I accepted my bid into alpha sigma alpha, I had no idea what kind of adventure to embark myself into. I was a first semester freshman brand new to the college life and still clueless as to what a sorority was. However, I would quickly watch my life change for the better at an exponential rate. I am now four semesters in and all my sisters older and younger have taught me many things. They have taught me that it is okay to not be okay. They have taught me patience and so many other leadership skills. Most of all my sisters have taught me how to love and how to be loved which is what I struggled with the most. Alpha Sigma Alpha gave me my best friends, the people who will be standing up with me at my wedding, and my first real love. Thank you alpha sigma alpha for giving me the opportunity to grow into who I am and continue to grow throughout the rest of my time here as an undergraduate ALAM ❤️”

Why I joined sorority life - Ivana Rematt : "I didn't really know why I wanted to join a sorority, I just had this gut feeling that I needed to. And it was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Even with all of the struggles, all of the tears, all of the pain, these girls have developed me into the best version of myself that I can be. When I first joined, I just wanted people to hang out with... but what I got instead was so much better. I got unconditional love. And that, to me, is the best gift anyone can ever give to someone.
Looking back those three years, I realized that they were exactly what I needed in life. They are my end, and my beginning. They are home."

Why I chose sorority life - Amber and Darian...
Amber: “Growing up, I always struggled making friends. I was quiet and lacked confidence. I joined sorority life because I wanted to grow not only as a person, but as a leader. Within moments of being in a sorority, I felt like I found my home, and my life has changed for the better. I'm thankful everyday that I am part of such an incredible group of women.”
Darian: “I joined sorority life because I knew as an only child I was always missing a big family experience. The first night I walked in to recruitment, I knew this is where my story begins with my sisters. During the process of recruitment week, I sat at a table and found two of my closest friends. I came out of my shell and became the woman I am now because of sorority life. I love every second of my leadership positions and sorority life has created a special place in my heart for forever. And the best part is i got to meet the most empowering women on this planet.”
