We are a group of FSU students, who help promote healthy, and safe decisions when it comes to Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs, Sexual Wellness and so much more... We are a nationally Certified Peer Education group through the BACCHUS Network and serve as Peer Educators by putting on several educational programs on campus each year. We’re here to break the myths about our campus. 82% of Frostburg Sta
te University students think it’s okay not to drink at parties, and 77% of students drink once a week, less or not at all. So why are we classified as a party school? Because it’s so much easier to hear about that one party that happened last night, than about the majority of students who were responsible and safe. Along with educating students on campus through educational programs we also do community service, go on retreats, get the opportunity to become Certified Peer Educators, go to Regional and National Conferences, host socials, dances, and have destination unknowns (a free all day event where students are given the opportunity to be taken to various unknown locations. Past DU’s have been a trip to Hagerstown, ice skating, Autumn Glory in Oakland, Maryland, roller skating and many others).
