Seven new awards or fully negotiated contracts for $3,832,069 have been given for research projects conducted at CSUF. Congratulations to all of our Principal Investigators on their hard work!
• Victoria Ajemian (Academic Affairs) received a $49,500 award from the Trustee of the California State University for the project, “Financial Wellness Clinic.”
• Michaela Bettez (Pollak Librarian) received a $5,000 award from CSU Dominguez Hills Foundation and their prime sponsor, Michelson 20MM Foundation for the project, “CSU Open Education Advocacy Fellowship: Kickstarting a Regional Student Partnership.”
• Michael Daniel (Business and Economics) received a $3,034,672 award from US Small Business Administration for the project, “Orange County Inland Empire Small Business Development Center CY 2026.”
• Bridget Dunken (Mathematics) received a $500,000 award from Google, LLC for the project, “PRISM Hub.”
• Kenneth Faller (Engineering and Computer Science) received a $198,397 award from The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University and their prime sponsor: National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL)/Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane for the project, “Chip Forward: Developing Tomorrow’s Semiconductor Workforce.”
• Laura Gil-Trejo (Humanities and Social Sciences) received a $40,000 award from Growing Inland Achievement (GIA) for the project, “2026 CSUF Alumni Survey.”
• David Pagni (Natural Sciences and Mathematics) received a $4,500 award from Kern County Superintendent of Schools for the project, “Math Professional Learning Partnership (“MPLP”) at CSU Fullerton.”
