Children between the ages of 3-6 years with a need in the areas of speech, language, augmentative and alternative communication, literacy, behavior regulation, etc.
Whats the cost?
$200 for 8 days of intervention (i.e., 3 days a week for 2 1/2 weeks) for 2 hours per day.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
July 15 – July 31
AM 9:30-11:30 or PM 12:30-2:30

Nine members of NSSLHA and S.T.A.N.C.E. of Cal State Fullerton traveled to Washington, DC for ASHA Student Advocacy Day on October 10, 2018. Representing the only West Coast institution, they attended meetings at the offices of Senator Dianne Feinstein and Senator Kamala Harris as well as their individual House representatives on Capitol Hill. At these meetings, members spoke about their experiences as students and aspiring future professionals in the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in order to inform lawmakers. The students hope to make an impact by advocating for key pieces of legislation issues including reauthorization of the Higher Education Act, funding for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and expansion of Telehealth coverage. All nine students state that it was a rewarding experience as they felt they were able to make a difference not only for their local communities but also at the national level. Names of students (pictured from top left to bottom right) are Jasmine Rene (Howard University), Christopher Quintana, Jaspreet Singh, Jada Augustine (Howard University), Michelle Glasell, Giselle Aldana, Alyssa Carillo, Diana Tran, Julissa Sandoval, and Hafsaah Nizami
