The American Studies Student Association at California State University, Fullerton is focused around the academic discipline of American Studies, examining areas of American life and issues with race, class, gender, sexuality and labor. This is an incredibly interdisciplinary and open-minded group. Students interested in cultural analysis, politics, popular culture, art, literature, and theory in
reference to the American self and experience will feel at home in this group. Student events & discussions planned regularly. ASSA events include the annual launch party for The American Papers, student-faculty pizza parties, movie nights, bowling nights, game nights, and the annual ASSA Student Symposium.
