Master of Science Instructional Design & Technology Master of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology (MSIDT) at California state university fullerton

Launched in 2002, the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology Program was one
of the first in the nation. To date, the College of Education program boasts over 300 graduates,
representing 39 different professional business and corporate areas. The program’s goal is to
incorporate theory and research related to adult learning and cognition, melded with current and
emerging practice

s and tools in technology. As a graduate student, you will experience best practices in the field that reflect innovative
instructional strategies and assessment, as well as evaluation methodologies. You will also develop
skills in project management, learning management system, collaboration, written communication,
technology-enabled media literacy, research, critical thinking and problem solving, while at the same
time, learn to use the technical tools to develop the latest curricula. The cohort structure offers two symposiums to facilitate a student-centered community of learners. The program also provides a challenging and rigorous educational environment, faculty mentoring
and professional networking through an active MSIDT Alumni Chapter.
