Kappa Alpha Order - Westminster College

Kappa Alpha Order - Westminster College "Excellence is Our Aim!" Kappa Alpha has been developing fine gentlemen here at Westminster College since 1890. Concerned about academics?

Rich with history, we strive to teach each of our members to be ‘southern gentlemen,’ which constitutes having the utmost respect for oneself and others. As a Kappa Alpha, you will find yourself filling many roles of leadership around campus and within the house. Many of the brothers are members of groups such as Student Ambassadors, Blue Blazers, Finance Committee, Student Athletic Advisory Commi

ttee, Student Foundation and more. In terms of athletics, KA boasts team captains in baseball, basketball, and soccer. We also held the intramural trophy for the 14th time in the last 16 years this past spring. The active members finished with a strong 3.396 cumulative GPA last Fall, which topped all other chapters' active members' GPA on campus once again. Nationally, we are the second most decorated KA chapter. What exactly does this mean? For years, our chapter has been bringing home awards for academics, recruitment, community service, and overall excellence on a national level. This success is highlighted by programs such a ‘Brothers for Others’, an outreach program that focuses on aiding the local and global community. This past semester, brothers participated in soup kitchens, yard clean ups, homeless shelter dinner deliveries, and many other activities benefiting the local Fulton community. We are also involved in other national philanthropic events including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Special Olympics MO. As one can see, Kappa Alpha is a dominant force in all aspects at Westminster College. As a member, you will be surrounded with men who will push you to succeed in whatever you are involved in here on campus. When you think Greek Life, think Kappa Alpha. Come join our lifelong brotherhood.

Another successful trip to Memphis for Province Council last weekend! We received a few awards, one of them being a Samuel Zenas Ammen Award, which is given to the top 10% of all KA chapters.
