Sigma Tau Gamma is a national fraternity founded in 1920 by veterans of the First World War. Founded as a society of men who endeavor to promote the highest ideals of Manhood, Brotherhood and Citizenship. Why Sigma Tau Gamma? Becoming a Founding Father of a Fraternity is a rare and unique opportunity. The opportunity to build a tradition and leave a legacy at William Woods University a great one!

Brian Winkelmann is a first year senior here at WWU. He was initiated in the fall of 2016. Some of the offices he has held are, member safety, house chairman, fundraising chair and community service chair. Here is why he joined Sig Tau, "I joined Sigma Tau Gamma because the fraternity carried the principles and values that I hold near and dear to me. They took me in as a brother allowing me to grow in greek life and on the campus." This is some advice he gives to new incoming freshmen, "become a member of the fraternity that holds the same morals and principles as you do. This will allow you to build strong bonds."
