In observance of Memorial Day, all Gadsden State campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, as we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Regular campus operations will resume Tuesday, May 26.

This week, faculty-nominated students from Construction Tech and HVAC programs participated in a two-day Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF): Boeing Regional Technical Hub Campus Engagement. Selected participants will have the opportunity to join a cohort of 15-30 Boeing Technical Scholars in Huntsville, AL for a two-day workshop designed to prepare them to compete for professional and technical career opportunities with Boeing.

Today, the Dental Assisting Program took part in the Valley Street Campus “Don’t Drop It on Alabama” Cleanup Campaign, joining communities statewide in a collective effort to promote environmental responsibility, strengthen campus pride, and help create a cleaner Alabama.

Today, Gadsden State Community College and Talladega College formalized an agreement that expands pathways for students to advance their education.

Valley Street Campus faculty, staff, and students also participated in an engaging panel discussion with both presidents.
