Surrender does not mean you have given up—it means you have chosen to place the burden into hands greater than your own. Trust that God cares about everything concerning you and is already working in the places you cannot see.

🍂✨ SEPTEMBER 1ST—BLOW YOUR CINNAMON! ✨🍂

Welcome, September—a new month filled with opportunities for spiritual release, renewal, and transformation!

Blowing a small pinch of cinnamon through your front doorway on the first day of the month is a spiritual practice associated with welcoming prosperity, peace, protection, and positive energy into the home. As you blow the cinnamon inward, speak your prayers and intentions aloud:

“As this cinnamon enters my home, may abundance, peace, protection, opportunity, and divine favor enter with it. May everything aligned with my highest good find its way to me. And so it is!”

Within African American folk spirituality and rootwork traditions, herbs and spices have long been used alongside prayer, faith, ancestral wisdom, and intention. Cinnamon represents warmth, attraction, spiritual momentum, and prosperity. The power is not simply in the cinnamon—it is in the faith, prayer, and sacred intention accompanying the practice.

Today, release what no longer serves you. Make room for the new beginning God has prepared for you. May September bring divine alignment, healing, transformation, open doors, and abundant increase!

✨ SOUL AWAKENING SUNDAY ✨

“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
—Psalm 37:4

This scripture is often interpreted to mean, “If I serve God, He will give me everything I want.” But its spiritual meaning goes much deeper.

To delight yourself in the Lord means to find your peace, joy, identity, and fulfillment in the Divine Presence. It means allowing your relationship with God to become more precious than the things you are asking God to provide.

As we grow closer to God, our hearts begin to change. Our desires become clearer, our motives become purer, and our decisions become aligned with divine purpose. We stop chasing what merely looks good and begin desiring what is truly good for our souls.

Sometimes God fulfills the desires already living within us. Other times, God lovingly transforms those desires so they reflect the life we were divinely created to live.

Psalm 37:4 teaches us about:

💜 Delight — finding joy and contentment in God’s presence.
💜 Alignment — allowing our desires to agree with divine wisdom.
💜 Fulfillment — trusting God to manifest what supports our purpose in the proper season.

Today, ask yourself:

Do the desires of my heart reflect my divine purpose—or are they coming from fear, comparison, loneliness, or the need for validation?

When your heart becomes aligned with God, you will discover that the greatest blessing is not simply receiving what you desire—it is becoming spiritually prepared to recognize, receive, and steward it.

May the desires of your heart be purified, aligned, and fulfilled according to the divine purpose for your life. And may you find joy in God while you wait for what has already been prepared for you.

✨ Delight. Align. Trust. Receive. ✨
