The Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies (TCNWS) is conducting a survey of all LVNs and RNs that first obtained their license on or after 2019, and we are asking for you to support this project by sharing a link to this survey with your nursing graduates and alumni.
The TCNWS has worked closely with a taskforce to develop a survey aimed at LVNs and RNs who have been licensed 5 years or less.
• The purpose of the survey is to gather information on the current and future needs of nurses licensed 5 years or less.
• This information will be used to guide the survey taskforce’s policy recommendations.
• Our total target population is 58,916 and we are attempting to reach at least 10% of our population or 5,892 respondents to get a representative sample.
• The survey closes on June 15th, 2025.
• This survey is voluntary and high-quality, actionable data will require a strong response which is why we are trying to reach eligible nurses through as many means as possible.
While the TCNWS and the survey’s task force members have been advertising the survey through various mediums, we want to ensure we are reaching as many of these nurses and are requesting your help doing so in disseminating a link to your graduates and alumni. I’ve attached two flyers and a document with messages that can be included in communications to your alumni.
