Hello DCP DA followers, we hope everyone had a good spring break!
โ โ
To many of you, this was already brought to your attention at the beginning of this month - a friendly reminder that we will be having a guest speaker session tomorrow to start off the second half of the spring semester.โ
โ
We will be having John Quinn, who served 20 years in the Navy with Cerebral Palsy. He did not announce that he had Cerebral Palsy until he did his retirement speech and then wrote a book about how he was able to serve with Cerebral Palsy. During his career, John was named the Administrative Leading Chief of the USS John C. Stennis, the Awards Branch Head at the Commander Naval Surface Force US Pacific Fleet, and the Assistant Ship Secretary of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. John retired in 2002, as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, the second-highest rank available for enlisted sailors.โ
โ
DCP Diversity Ambassadors would love for you to attend to listen to John Quinn sharing his life experience. Everyone is invited!โ

๐๏ธ The event will take place March 14th at 5:30 P.M. on zoom (link in our bio).
