🏆 Win Phillips Town Gown Relations Award – Game Day Operations

Today, VP Brandi Renton presented the Win Phillips Town Gown Relations Award to our Game Day Operations partners for their outstanding collaboration that keeps Gator Nation safe during home football weekends and major celebrations.

Recognized leaders include:
• University of Florida Police Department & Public Safety – Chief Bart Knowles
• City of Gainesville – Mayor Harvey Ward
• Gainesville Police Department – Chief Nelson Moya
• Gainesville Fire Rescue – Chief Shawn Hillhouse
• Alachua County Fire Rescue – Chief Harold Theus
• Alachua County Sheriff – Sheriff Chad Scott
• Florida Highway Patrol – Major Andrew Litzell

Their unified efforts manage traffic, emergency response, crowd safety, and post-game operations — ensuring smooth, enjoyable game days for tens of thousands of fans. This partnership also excelled during the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship celebrations, showing the power of community collaboration.
