This adage is the foundation upon which the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) is built. CEI infuses entrepreneurial principles not only throughout the academic programs of the Warrington College of Business Administration, but also serves as the catalyst of entrepreneurial activity and ideation throughout the University of Florida and beyond the campus. By offering courses, degree pro

grams, innovative workshops, speaker series, and co-curricular programming, the Center serves more than 2,000 students annually. Beyond our campus, the Center is committed to supporting dreamers and doers in the Gainesville community, across the state of Florida, nationally and internationally. Our entrepreneurial engagement programs include the Innovative Sustainability & Social Impact Initiative where students solve social, environmental and economic problems; the Experiential Classroom, which shares best practices in teaching entrepreneurship with faculty from around the globe; the Disabled Veterans Entrepreneurship Program, supporting those who have paid the price for our freedom; Entrepreneurship and Empowerment in South Africa, where students work with historically-disadvantaged entrepreneurs to help them grow their ventures, and much more. These instructive programs, transformative activities and a passion for entrepreneurial excellence position CEI as a leading innovative force in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. These instructive programs, transformative activities and a passion for entrepreneurial excellence position CEI as a leading innovative force in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Thomas S. Johnson Master of Science in Entrepreneurship Program The Thomas S. Johnson Master of Science in Entrepreneurship Program (MSE) is where the principle and practice of entrepreneurship seamlessly intersect. Through a stimulating curriculum and transformational experiential learning opportunities, this one-year, intensive program equips promising entrepreneurs with the skills and savvy to plan, launch and sustain innovative ventures on their terms. Three-piece suits and old-school methods are not the norm here. Big ideas and a bold confidence are our prerequisites. A departure from typical graduate business programs, the MSE Program awakens the entrepreneurial spirit through its dynamic experiential learning programs including GatorNest, where students collaborate with area startups; the Integrated Technology Venture Program, which brings together business, law and engineering students to commercialize university technology; and the Lean Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program, where students receive early stage proof-of-concept funding and incubation to launch their own ventures. These inspiring initiatives, along with the program’s emphasis on global perspectives and social responsibility, validate the MSE Program as one of the nation’s premier graduate entrepreneurship experiences.
