One of our amazing students represented the UF College of Journalism and Communications at the 2026 PRovoke Summit + Innovation SABRE Awards North America in New York City on May 4. ✨

Selected for the competitive MSLearning Track, she had the opportunity to connect with leading PR professionals, engage in conversations shaping the future of communications and AI and gain valuable industry insight. A huge thank you to PRovoke Media and MSL for making this experience possible for our students! 🐊

Last week, we celebrated our students at the annual UF Public Relations Department Recognition Ceremony for their accomplishments throughout their time in the .

It was a special opportunity to honor the hard work, leadership and dedication these students have demonstrated during their time in the department. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and excited to see the impact they will make in the next chapter of their journeys.

We are thrilled to celebrate Mickey G. Nall, APR, Fellow PRSA, professional-in-residence and senior lecturer in the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, on receiving the prestigious Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) John W. Dillin Award.

As the highest honor awarded by the Florida Public Relations Association, the John W. Dillin Award recognizes extraordinary service, dedication and lasting impact on the profession, and there is no one more deserving than Mickey.

Mickey’s unwavering commitment to our students, our department and the public relations profession has made an incredible difference in the lives of so many. We are deeply grateful for the leadership, mentorship and passion he brings to our college every day.
