Jeanne specializes in English and American Literature, as well as Folklore and Film Studies. She has been with the George A. Smathers Libraries since 2018.

When's not assisting students with research in the Department of English, Jeanne is rolling around on the floor with her two Great Pyrenees, or out digging in the garden

Jeanne wishes students knew how happy the specialists are when they get to help them. Feel free to reach out if you need help with her specialties.

- Quiet Study Floor: Our fourth floor is designated for quiet study, and is a good place to go to avoid overstimulation.
- KIC scanners: Scan documents quickly, and convert text to an electronic format that can be used with a screen readers.
- Ask-a-Librarian: Get help in the library from wherever you are.
- Proxy Borrowing: Contact us if you need assistance retrieving materials.

Let's meet our Lisa Campbell!

Lisa is the liaison to the Writing Program and the Dial Center for Speech and Communication Studies. Students can go to her when they need help getting started with their library research. Lisa typically helps students explore social issues and trending topics, but she can also connect students with their subject specialists if they need additional or advanced help within their field.

When she’s not walking her dogs or gazing at the stars, she also teaches a one-credit course LIS 2001: Introduction to Library and Internet Research that students can take online.

If she could tell students one thing, Lisa wishes students knew that they are not on their own! Specialists have created resources like library research guides and video tutorials to help students navigate library research, and we are ready to help when needed.

Dearest Gentle Reader -

We have been in full swing of the season for some time now, and it seems some have not found a desirable read to pass the time when not promenading or attending social functions.

Luckily, Library West has put together a most delectable display of regency romance works inspired largely by Jane Austen that should satisfy readers while we wait for the next season~
