Hi, everyone! I ran across this on the internet; it's not construction but I thought it was worth sharing. If anyone has an interest or a friend in transportation, take a look at the student paper contest. They specifically say they do n
ot receive many entries and they give away a $,1500 prize. The deadline is quickly approaching however; you need to have an abstract to them in two weeks but have a few months more for the paper.

TRF is dedicated to providing an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas among practitioners, researchers, and government officials regarding all modes of transportation, focusing on both domestic and international issues.

Hello, CEM needs your help!

1) If you have photos from your job, internship, co-op, or anything construction engineering related and are willing to share; please upload them to an album on this page. We need photos to show what our students are all about!

2) Mr. Fisher is developing a series of suggestive electives for the construction engineering master’s program. These courses are in addition to the required construction engineering classes and need to complete the required 30 credit hours. If you are a graduate student and would like to recommend (or discourage) a course a course that you have taken, please post and start a discussion on this page. We really need your help because there are a lot of courses outside our group! The three categories for recommended electives are:

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING
Design and engineering course, such as foundations, pavement, etc.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT,
Management and business related courses

RENEWABLE INFRASTRUCTURE & SUISTANABILITY
Pretty self explanatory

3) If you have any good news, such as awards, promotions, new contracts, or a new job; we would love to hear it! Please share on our page!

Thank you,
Kyle Fisher, E.I.
