BIG NEWS ON BEHALF OF ALPHA TAU!

We are thrilled to share that Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, UF '88, '90 and 3x Gator mom has accepted our invitation for honorary membership in the Alpha Tau Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority!

Through honorary initiation, Alpha Epsilon Phi recognizes exemplary women who have dedicated their lives to selfless service, community, friendship, and their Jewish heritage. Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz embodies all of this -- and bleeds orange and blue.

Rep. Wasserman Schultz will be formally initiated on Saturday, February 17 at 9am during the chapter's 75th anniversary weekend celebration. AEPhi National President, Sharon Block Raphael, will travel to Gainesville to preside over the ceremony.

ONLY current sisters and Alpha Tau alumnae are permitted to attend this formal ceremony. If you would like to join us for this milestone occasion and have NOT yet registered for Alumnae Weekend, we've EXTENDED registration until Friday, Feb 9 at 11:59pm PST. This is the absolute final extension.

Please register at alphatau75.eventbrite.com

If you cannot attend the entire weekend, but want to come to initiation ONLY, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Space is limited and will be prioritized to those attending the full weekend.

Happy Founders Day!! On this Founders’ Day, we have a special surprise!

All gifts over $50 to the Founders’ Day Challenge from new or returning donors will be matched TODAY only.

Last year, Foundation increased our scholarship program and awarded $50,000 in scholarships. Due to donors like you it also provided educational, professional development, and social programs, virtually, to a wide range of sisters. And it enabled AEPhi to move many of our collegiate educational pieces to a new learning management system.

Please join me TODAY in making a gift aephi.org/founders

Help us reach our goal of $3,500 from Alpha Tau donors!

I’m reaching out about AEPhi Foundation Founders’ Day Campaign Challenge.

This Founders’ Day we celebrate 110 years of AEPhi inspiring exemplary women. Since 1909 Alpha Epsilon Phi has inspired Jewish women like you and me to be leaders on campus, in our communities, in professional capacities, as activists, and more. While much has changed since 1909, much remains the same. The need for women to unite to create change and better our community is greater now than ever before.

I know that AEPhi has had a profound impact on your life, as it’s had on mine, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting the 2019 Founders Day Challenge to ensure that AEPhi can continue to inspire exemplary women for the next 110 years and beyond.

All new donations of $19.09 or more will be matched by $115 thanks to a generous group of Foundation supporters – this is an amazing opportunity! Gifts can be made through aephi.org/founders.

Thank you for your support!

LML,

PS- Feel free to check out the AEPhi Foundation page to add the campaign cover photo or “I Met the Challenge” frame to your Facebook profile!
