Virtual Registration for SeaVet Clinical Training 2026 is still open! For more information on registration and costs please visit our course website: https://conference.ifas.ufl.edu/seavet/
We will have lectures on entanglements, welfare, medicine, pathology, anesthesia, ophthalmology, health assessments, diet, and much more! All related to aquatic animals!

Are you looking to learn more about manatees or maybe acquire a stronger background in marine mammal biology?
Enroll into our summer courses and learn from dedicated experts in the field!
Our course Manatee Health and Conservation is open to undergrads and graduate students who want to learn about the natural history, anatomy, physiology, behavior, conservation and health issues of manatees.
Marine Mammal Biology is open to graduate students who want to explore the biology, physiology, and ecology of marine mammals. This course focuses around the three main marine mammal groups (cetaceans, sirenians, pinnipeds); however, relevant information on ursids and mustelids will be included.

Enroll in Aq. Wildlife Health Issues and learn through recorded lectures given by experts from a variety of institutions, practice your academic writing skills, and engage in discussions with speakers and students.
Register for Sea Turtle Medicine and Rehabilitation and learn to identify common injuries, illnesses, and pathologies observed in sea turtles and assess different treatments. You will also look into how biology, anatomy, and physiology play a role into clinical care and management of sea turtles during rescue events and in rehabilitation settings.
