History: In 1908: Electrical Engineering becomes part of the Technological School; John R. Benton was department's only faculty member; the Dynamo Lab, a 35' x 18', one-story building specifically for electrical engineering, was one of the three new buildings in the fall of 1908; founding class graduates with a Bachelor of Science degree.
