University of Florida Organ Studio Welcome to the University of Florida organ studio page. "Like" us for general information about concerts and the general goings-on of our studio.

The 2013-2014 organ studio is comprised of eight students under the tutelage of Dr. Laura Ellis. Studio members are active in the Gainesville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and several students serve as organists in places of worship around Gainesville, Jacksonville, Ocala, and surrounding areas.

Wade FitzGerald and Crista Miller will play organ recitals on the Andrew Anderson Memorial Pipe Organ in the University Auditorium as part of the Sacred Music Workshop. The UF Pipe Organ Centennial Celebration continues with a recital by Zach Klobnak (MM '09) on Thursday, March 6 @ 7:20PM. He'll be performing on the Andrew Anderson Memorial Pipe Organ housed in the University Auditorium!

"A Celebration of Women Composers" contains compositions by F***y Mendelssohn Hensel, Sharon J. Willis, Rachel Laurin, Jeanne Demessieux, Brenda Portman, and Emma Lou Diemer. Dr. Klobnak will also give a presentation on the life and organ compositions of Rolande Falcinelli on Wednesday, March 5 @ 5:10PM in MUB 332. Welcome back to campus, Zach!
