Right before Spring break, the welding students completed new dugout stands for the NCTC baseball team. They will hold drinks/Gatorade coolers on top and a trash bin inside. Great job students!

All three of these outstanding students have proven themselves to be honest, trustworthy and reliable. Each possesses above average communication skills. They have worked hard to develop these professional skills that are absolutely essential for success in the workplace. Each recipient will have $2500 to spend toward completing their studies and transitioning into industry. One is a dual-credit Denton High School senior with a bright future who always seeks opportunities to complete tasks ahead of schedule and looks for additional ways he can contribute. Another is a manager in the logistics industry transitioning to a new career in service. Inquisitive, he asks excellent questions, always seeking to develop greater understanding. The third is A hard working young family man with a can-do spirit and a friendly disposition. He always takes constructive criticism as an opportunity to build better skills.

Trade Academy is awarding $50,000 in HVAC scholarships for trade school students to use on tools, tech, or tuition.

As we head into the Fall semester, remember to be careful about your health. This is a challenging time but it is thrilling to see so many young people attending classes.

A recent study and many discussions have indicated that our graduates are in high demand. HVAC, Machining, and Welding top the list. There are even companies out there that are offering signing bonuses for new hires. A great example of this is a local company that is offering a $5,000 signing bonus for entry-level machinists. Incredible!

Signing Day for dual-credit HVAC students. Two 1st year students are starting a paid summer internship at TD Industries! Two graduating students are joining Spectrum Heat & Air as apprentice technicians. Way to go students!
