Gator Collegiate Cattlewomen

Gator Collegiate Cattlewomen GCCW is a college based organization for ladies interested in the cattle industry. As a club, we help with statewide events that are held by FCA and FCW.

GCCW is affiliated with Florida Cattlemen and Florida Cattlewomen's Associations. We also work to be the women's voice of the cattle industry at the University of Florida and to help further educate Florida's youth. Our current officer team is:

Our GCCW girls had the amazing opportunity to tour Baldwin Angus Ranch in Ocala, FL with Florida CattleWomen! The Baldwin family graciously welcomed us and shared about their renowned seedstock operation and how their impressive Angus herd came to be.
It was a special experience to see firsthand the passion they have for caring for their cattle and preparing the next generation of Baldwins to one day manage the herd. We concluded the day with a wonderful meal and fellowship, making it a truly memorable visit!

Last week, members of GCCW and Block and Bridle had the opportunity to attend the Florida Cattlemen’s Fall Quarterly Meeting! They participated in committee meetings to learn more about key industry topics and ways to continue improving. The evening wrapped up with a steak dinner hosted by Florida CattleWomen at the Seminole Casino, providing a great chance to network with cattlemen and women from across the state. The following morning, members also joined the Florida CattleWomen’s Board of Directors meeting for organizational updates! We are so thankful for the chance to attend events like these and to learn more about what is happening in the industry!
