When she’s not cheering on her favorite sports teams or spending time with her pets, she is helping high school students navigate college before they even graduate!

Meet Allison, UF’s Senior Dual Enrollment Coordinator. She’s been part of the Dual Enrollment team since 2019 and now oversees the entire program! From advising students to processing applications, she makes sure to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Allison is passionate about helping students understand how college works and guiding them as they discover their academic strengths. She loves watching students explore their goals and figure out the path they want to take in the future!

One piece of advice Allison wants to share with students is to always ask questions and never assume! Take every opportunity to learn and soak up all the knowledge we have to offer.

Our dual enrollment team had a great time hosting this year’s OCPS Dual Enrollment Convening at our Lake Nona campus. Counselors from across Orange County Public Schools came together to reflect on the school year and connect over ways to continue supporting students as the year wraps up.

We shared program updates, looked at how our dual enrollment students have grown over the past five years and received feedback directly from counselors. We are excited to keep building on this momentum and are looking forward to the year ahead! 🐊

Meet William, UF’s newest Academic Program Specialist on the Dual Enrollment team! He's all about, listening, and staying prepared for whatever comes his way. Whether he's processing an application or answering a call about course availability, he takes pride in being a small yet significant part of each student’s academic journey.

If there’s one piece of advice William wants students to know, it’s this: If you're passionate about a goal, go for it. Don’t let the fear of failure hold you back. Without trying, you’ll never achieve it!
