“I always knew I was going to study abroad, so I signed up for the Warrington Study and Intern Program as soon as applications opened. A few weeks later, I convinced my little, Ava, to sign up with me! I’m so grateful that GPhi brought her into my life, and now we’re traveling the world and having fun all summer. I was also lucky to meet up with my GPhi roommate and best friend, Maci. Even though we’re in different programs, we still found the time to meet up for a weekend. She completely cured my homesickness just by being herself! Study abroad was easily one of the best experiences of my life, and I’m so glad I got to share these moments with my best friends.”

Happy 💌 Introducing our Financial Vice President sophia strehl

“Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Strehl and I serve as the Financial Vice President for Eta Xi! In this role, I manage chapter finances, make purchases for the chapter, create the budget, and help ensure our beautiful house is being cared for and running smoothly.

Joining Gamma Phi Beta was truly the best decision I made in college. As an out-of-state student from Minnesota, I was nervous about moving a thousand miles away from home and starting a completely new chapter of my life. However, from the moment I walked through the doors of Gamma Phi, the incredible women I met made Gainesville feel like home.

I have found friendships through this sisterhood that will last a lifetime: from late-night talks and sweet treat runs to spontaneous adventures and traveling the world together, I know I can always count on a sister to be there for me. Gamma Phi Beta is my home away from home, and I can’t wait to meet MC ‘26 in August!”

Happy 💌 Introducing our Education Vice President

“Hi everyone! My name is Izzy Rosado, and I currently serve as the Education Vice President for the amazing Eta Xi chapter here at UF. In this role, I have the privilege of helping plan sisterhood and wellness activities that make our chapter so special. I also oversee our Academic and DEI departments, where we focus on supporting one another’s success at UF while continuing to educate ourselves on the importance of the world around us. I also get to plan senior week, a week full of fun events to celebrate the seniors’ time in the chapter.

I truly cannot imagine my collegiate experience without Gamma Phi. Through this chapter, I’ve met my best friends, and every time I step into the house, it genuinely feels like home. Whether I’m stopping by for a meal or catching up with a sister in the living room, I’m constantly reminded of the love and support within our sisterhood. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful. It is so hard to believe next year will be my last with these incredible women, and I cannot wait to welcome home our newest member class!”
