You do not want to miss our big Kickoff event on May 19th! Join us in the Abolition Lab from 4-6 pm for a fun-filled event that will send you into the summer challenge with a bang! Seymour Library is partnering with the Galesburg Public Library, Wordsmith Bookshoppe, Student Book Club, and Counseling Services to set you up for success in the summer challenge! Come to get signed up and all the resources you need, then stay to bind a reading journal, have some snacks, and maybe even win our door prize!

Just showing up will get you entered into the drawing for the door prize! The drawing will be taking place at 5:30pm.

Hey Knox College! Get ready to turn the page on your best summer yet! 📚☀️

Whether you’re staying on campus or heading home, the Seymour Library Summer Challenge is here to keep you inspired, engaged, and reading all season long. From virtual book clubs to hands-on crafting, we have a lineup of events that you won't want to miss.

How it Works:
Participating is easy and fun! To complete the challenge and earn entries for our grand prize drawing, simply:
- Sign up and instantly snag a free bookmark
- Attend the kickoff event May 19th, 4-6pm in the Ab Lab to start the summer with a bang
- Read books based on our fun prompts
- Attend events throughout the summer to earn even more entries

One lucky winner will take home a goody bag featuring a gift card to Wordsmith Bookshoppe! The drawing will be held on September 14th.

We asked and you answered! Now introducing the newly named study room: The Squirrel's Den! This quiet study room is on the second floor of the library, just off of the yellow carpet room.
Despite what the photos may indicate, there's an alarming lack of squirrels in The Squirrel's Den. Help us out by stopping by this room to color your own squirrel and add it to the squirrel shelf!
